The map below shows Sydney Airport N70 noise contours 2024 and 2001 with the daily average number of noise events louder than 70dBA. This map shows the actual numbers from 2001 by the areas within the solid lines and the estimated increase in the 10 to 20 events per day within the dotted lines. From the Sydney Airport Master Plan 2004. Note the big increases north west, north and north east of the airport.
